Whether you own the practice, lead the team, or you’re the one everyone leans on — the skills that got you here are a different set than the ones that carry you forward. That gap is learnable. It’s the work I do.
The long hours, the staff who keep leaving, the team that won’t quite click, the ceiling you keep hitting look like separate problems. Most often they trace to the same root: the traits that made you excellent at the work are the very ones now getting in the way. Decisive, in control, the most capable person in the room. That’s what built a practice, a team, and a career that runs on you.
That’s not a character flaw — it’s the part nobody trained you for. You learned your profession. You were never taught how to lead the people and run the business around it so it holds without you carrying every piece. That gap is the work — and it’s the part you actually control.

WHY MOST HELP DOESN'T STICK
II’ve been inside the practice. I spent more than a decade as a PA inside independently-owned practices as the clinical lead who knew how to run the room and sat next to administrators both excellent and abysmal. When you describe your week, nothing surprises me.
II’ve run and led the business. I moved into the corporate world and learned to lead a large organization, where strategy, structure, and building teams that run without you aren’t optional. That’s where I saw how much of what breaks a business of any size is leadership and systems, not effort or talent.
II trained to coach the person at the center. The patterns that keep an owner or a leader stuck don’t shift from a new SOP or a management book. They shift when the person leading starts leading differently, and that’s the work I’m trained for.
Not promises, the changes that get noticed.
The team brings you every problem
The team brings you solutions
Hard conversations blow up before you have them
You handle them early, while they're small
You check everything to keep the quality up
The quality stays steady
You react on autopilot
You choose your response
Everything routes through you
The work runs without you at the center

THE ONLY ONE WHO BRINGS ALL THREE
For more than 25 years I’ve worked both inside and alongside demanding, high-stakes practices — first as a PA on the floor of independently-owned offices, then leading in the corporate world, and now coaching the owners and leaders at the center of it all. I’ve yet to meet anyone who brings all three: years inside a professional practice, the experience of running and leading a large business, and the training to coach the person leading it.
Most consultants and coaches bring one piece. The work I do lives where all three meet, so the changes last.
