An assessment isn’t the destination — it’s the doorway. The right one gives you language for the patterns running on autopilot, so the coaching that follows has something precise to work with. I lead with the Enneagram and the iEQ9, the most rigorous read available, and use DISC where a team needs a shared, practical language fast.
Most people have taken some test that sorted them into a type and then sat in a drawer. That’s not what this is. An assessment here does one job: it makes the invisible visible — the patterns that drive how you decide, communicate, handle pressure, and lead — so we’re not guessing when the real work begins.
It’s the map. The coaching is the journey. The point was never to know your number; it’s to do something with it.
THE FOUNDATION
Most of how you operate runs on autopilot.
Long before you could choose, you built patterns — ways of thinking, reacting, and protecting yourself — and they’ve been running underneath your decisions ever since. The Enneagram is the map of those patterns: nine types, each with its own core motivation. The why beneath what you do, not just the what.
It doesn’t put you in a box. It does the opposite. It shows you the box you already built, names the patterns you couldn’t see from the inside, and hands you the key. Once a motivation is conscious, it stops running you — and you get to choose a different response.
Here’s what surprises people: it reads motivation, not behavior. Two people can do the exact same thing for completely different reasons — and two people who behave nothing alike can be running the very same pattern underneath. And it scales. The same patterns that drive one person drive a marriage, a team, and an entire company’s culture. That’s a big part of why I keep coming back to it. And it doesn’t only show what holds you back — it shows the strengths that are genuinely yours, and how to lead from them.
Why the iEQ9
The work is only as good as the read you start from. The iEQ9, developed by Integrative Enneagram Solutions, is the most accurate and comprehensive Enneagram assessment available. That’s why it’s the one I use.

THE COMPLEMENT
Where the Enneagram goes deep into the why, DISC stays practical and on the surface, like how people communicate, make decisions, and respond to pace and pressure. It’s quick to learn and easy to use day to day which makes it a strong fit for teams that need common language right away.
I often pair the two: DISC for the immediate, shared vocabulary across a team, and the Enneagram/iEQ9 for the deeper pattern work underneath. Different depths with same goal of seeing clearly so we can change what matters.
An assessment on its own is just a report. Here, it’s the front door to one of three kinds of work.
Your iEQ9 becomes the map for one-on-one coaching — working the live patterns until how you lead actually changes.
Group assessment reveals the team as a system — strengths, blind spots, and friction — so a capable group learns to click.
The Blueprint session pairs your iEQ9 with two coaching sessions — a low-commitment way to start with yourself.
You don’t have to choose — that’s what the first conversation is for. But here’s the short version.
The deep read — the foundation
For the why underneath how you lead, decide, and handle pressure. The foundation for real, lasting change.
Best when: you’re ready to grow as a leader, or you want lasting change — individually or as a team.
The practical read — the complement
For fast, shared language about communication and working style across a group.
Best when: a team needs common vocabulary quickly, often as an on-ramp to the deeper work.
The simplest way in. Take the iEQ9, then sit down with me for two focused sessions to read your blueprint — the patterns driving how you lead and live, and the first door to change. Low commitment, genuinely useful on its own.
